How to Claim LEAP Training Fees
Through HRD Corp

Is Your Company Eligible?

Check these three conditions before proceeding. If all three apply, your training is fully claimable.

Your company qualifies if:

  • Your company is registered in Malaysia and contributes to HRD Corp levy (companies with 10+ Malaysian employees are required to contribute)
  • Your company has sufficient levy balance to cover the training cost (check via your e-TRiS employer account)
  • You have a minimum of 15 participants attending the LEAP programme

You cannot claim if:

  • Your company does not contribute to HRD Corp (typically companies with fewer than 10 Malaysian employees)
  • Your levy balance is insufficient to cover the total training cost
  • The training has already started or been completed without a prior-approved claim

Follow these steps in order. Steps 1–3 must be completed before the training date.

HRD Corp portal

Log in to e-TRiS and submit your SBL-Khas claim

Your HR or Finance team submits the training grant application via the HRD Corp portal. This must be done before the training date.

⚠️
Critical: Claims submitted after the training has started will be rejected. Submit at least 3–5 working days before the programme date.
  • Go to etris.hrdcorp.gov.my and log in with your employer account
  • Navigate to Grant Application → SBL-Khas
  • Enter our TP number: 202303013091 (MAHA Training & Consultancy)
  • Upload the invoice we provided
  • Enter participant names and IC numbers
  • Submit the application and note the claim reference number

Your action

Receive HRD Corp approval

HRD Corp will review your application and send an approval letter to your employer account on e-TRiS. Typical processing time is 3–10 working days.

  • Check your e-TRiS account for the approval status
  • Once approved, send us a copy of the approval letter so we can finalise the programme schedule
  • Payment terms: MAHA invoices after approval — you pay from your levy balance, not cash

MAHA delivers the LEAP programme at your premises

We arrive at your location and deliver the full 2-day (16-hour) LEAP Framework programme. Each participant produces 8 tangible AI-enabled work outputs.

  • We handle all training materials, workbooks, and AI tool access
  • Attendance sheet is signed by each participant daily
  • We issue a completion certificate to each participant

We submit all completion documents

Within 3 working days after the programme ends, MAHA submits the full completion documentation package to you for your HRD Corp post-training claim.

HRD Corp reimburses

HRD Corp reimburses your company

After your post-training claim is approved on e-TRiS, HRD Corp reimburses the training cost directly from your company's levy balance. Your company pays nothing out of pocket.
